Located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Jeddah Hospital Park is a healthcare development designed to support advanced medical, recovery and rehabilitation services in a high-demand clinical environment. The project includes a health services tower intended to accommodate post-operative, geriatric, cardiac, neurological and rehabilitation patients. In this type of building, the domestic hot water system plays an important role in supporting comfort, operational reliability and hygiene-related procedures throughout the facility.
THERMOSTATIC BALANCING FOR DOMESTIC HOT WATER SYSTEMS
For this project, Pettinaroli supplied 590 TBV Plus Thermostatic Balancing Valves for the sanitary water system. Domestic hot water recirculation networks require accurate balancing to help maintain the desired temperature across the different branches of the system, especially in large buildings where demand can vary significantly during operation. TBV Plus was selected as a suitable solution for this application because it combines thermostatic balancing with anti-legionella thermal disinfection. The valve helps balance the flow in the recirculation network and supports a more uniform distribution of hot water at the required temperature.
