PROJECT OVERVIEW
The 318 Oxford Street development is a major refurbishment in one of London’s most prestigious retail and commercial areas. The project transformed the former House of Fraser building into a high-quality mixed-use space, combining premium office accommodation with flagship retail zones. To meet stringent environmental and energy performance standards, a high-efficiency fan coil system was specified. Pettinaroli UK supplied bespoke commissioning assemblies to support Artus, the FCU manufacturer, delivering precise control, compact installation, and long-term reliability.
SCOPE OF SUPPLY
Pettinaroli UK provided ART.07 commissioning sets designed specifically for Artus fan coil units. Each assembly includes a return-mounted drain valve for simplified maintenance, a metering station for accurate flow measurement and balancing, and a non-return valve (NRV) to prevent reverse flow and maintain hydraulic stability. These pre-assembled units were fully pressure-tested, flushed, and ready for installation, streamlining onsite activity and reducing commissioning time.
KEY FEATURES OF THE ASSEMBLY
- Compact return-mounted configuration – integrates seamlessly with the Artus FCU, optimising space and service access.
- Accurate flow control – metering station ensures precise measurement and system performance.
- Enhanced serviceability – accessible drain valve simplifies maintenance and cleaning.
- Pre-tested reliability – every assembly was tested at Pettinaroli UK facility for consistency and leak-free operation.
