HISTORY
1938 Fratelli
PETTINAROLI starts as small workshop pruducing gas taps, Giuseppe and Mario
work there;
1945 after
the second world war the brass foundry is open;
1954 the
export market is open and the sales to the American market start;
1970 a
new plant of 10.000 m2 covered area is open;
1978 after
40 years of business the workers are already 150 and the covered area is
20.000 m2;
1988 the
company celebrates the half century;
1990 after
lots of product quality awards ["BS Kite Mark" (1975), "AGA,
CGA, UL, FM" (1988)], the company Quality System approved to ISO 9002
by BSI;
1998 the
last ten years have brought Fratelli PETTINAROLI S.p.A. to the actual world-wide
dimension with:
- sales to almost 50 markets;
- covered area of 30.000 m2;
- personnel close to 300 people.
23-01-2001 unfortunately
Mr. Giuseppe Pettinaroli, the always present and active figure in the
firm, passed away, broken off by a sickness that couldn't prevent him to firmly
lead PETTINAROLI factory and strengthen its position worldwide;
2001 the
start up of our distribution in China;
2003 the
launch of the new heating range at Ish/Show and at the major Shows worldwide;
2003
the launch of the new Flowmaster in Europe and North America;
2003 the
alliance with Uponor/Wirsbo USA and Canada;
2003 the
opening of the new Danish distribution Center and the
"Pettinaroli Valves University";
Laura
Fortis Pettinaroli, Maria Pia Pettinaroli and the General consul of Denmark
and his wife.
2004 Laura
Fortis, President of Fratelli Pettinaroli Spa, giving our book history to Joe
Pauley, President of Wirsbo USA;
2004 the
visit of Joe Pauley and his top managers at the plant in March;
2004 seminars
of the "Smart Team" and main distributors at the factory, Jørgen and Kim Pedersen
(Pettinaroli A/S) first line;
Among
the new 2005 big projects we can anticipate the construction of the new
building of Pettinaroli group in North America.
